Support for Mentors
“I’m so blessed & honored to be associated with an organization that does such great work and cares about their volunteers. I hope my efforts in some way help to strengthen such an organization.” -Amachi Pittsburgh Mentor
Amachi Pittsburgh staff provide training and technical support to our mentors prior to being matched, but we know that mentors may have additional questions or concerns throughout their match. Amachi University – launched in fall of 2015 – is intended to provide answers to some of those questions, as well as ideas for new and enriching mentoring activities, and guidance for when issues arise. We have also included links to helpful resources from our partner organizations so that our mentors can successfully make a positive difference in their mentee’s life.
